Religious Education
Our Mission Statement
The mission of the Religious Education Program at St. Mark Church is to assist parents of students in grades 1 - 9 in the religious formation of their children. The Catholic Church has always taught that parents are the primary educators of their children. The Religious Education Program provides systematic instruction to students to supplement the teaching and example of their parents. The goal of the program is to work cooperatively with parents to give their children a good knowledge, understanding, and love of their Catholic faith, so they are prepared to live a life of holiness in today’s world.

2026-2027 Orientations for Students, Parents, and Catechists
As we begin a new year of faith formation, we invite all families to attend our Parent/Teacher/Student Orientation. This gathering is an essential part of our Religious Education Program and provides important information about the year ahead, including program expectations, schedules, curriculum, and opportunities to grow together in faith. Attendance by the students and parents is strongly encouraged.
Student/Parent/Catechist Orientation:
Grades 6–9 will be on Sunday, September 13th at 11:00am.
Grades 1–5 will be on Tuesday, September 15th at 4:15pm.
Orientations will be at the Mother Cabrini Parish Center.
